Mission Statement
The
mission of the Colonial Commission is to focus upon the colonial
and revolutionary era of Kinston-Lenoir County and neighboring counties from which Lenoir
County was created from in 1791. It is our aim to raise public awareness and
an appreciation of
our historical, geographical and cultural beginnings.
